Budget Information 2020-21
USD 373 Administration presented a the proposed budget for 2020-21 to the Newton Board of Education on August 3, 2020, which was subsequently approved by the board on August 17, 2020. Below is a summary of the budget profile along with a copy of the budget presentation.
Additionally, the Kansas Legislature has required that districts post Form 150 from the budget document. This form calculates all the weightings that will be used when determining the general fund state aid and budget. Form 150, along with a document noting the cash balances on hand at the beginning of the 2020-21 school year, are included below.

Financial Statements/Audits
State law requires that school districts have an external audit of their finances, financial practices, and compliance with state and federal laws. In the table below are the audited financial statements for the past several years. An audit cannot be conducted until the close of the district's fiscal year on June 30, and is typically completed by the end of the December of that calendar year.
