Kindergarten Enrollment

If you were unable to attend our kindergarten enrollment event in April, you can still enroll your Kindergarten student! 

New Families

If your family is new to to Newton Public Schools, we have One Stop Enrollment coming up in August for all new families. 

Existing/Returning Families

Returning families may access the enrollment application online through their Parent Portal anytime during the enrollment period.

Parents of returning students who need to enroll a new student for any grade level can follow the instructions available in the online application process to add their new student.

Age Requirement for Kindergarten Students:

Incoming Kindergarten students must be 5 year old by August 31.

The following records are required for Kindergarten attendance.

  • Immunization Record

  • Health Assessment
  • Birth Certificate
