Homeopathic remedies/Non FDA approved items Essential Oils, Herbal Remedies, and Supplements

Essential Oils, Herbal Remedies and Supplements – Application and/or Use in Schools:
School nurses and UAP delegated by the school nurse will administer homeopathic remedies such as herbal remedies, supplements, essential oils, or creams and lotions containing essential oils, with a physician order. The product must be in the original manufacturer container/package with all labels intact. The manufacturer label must include the list of ingredients and directions for use. Parents may come to school and administer such remedies to their children unless the scent from these remedies triggers an asthmatic or allergic reaction for other students or staff in the school.
